The musings of a journey of visual artist Dominique Vargo. Creatively exploring the highs and lows of achieving a dream into visual tranquility and imagination.
So … I remembered mentioning to a few of my fans that I don’t do fan art, even though I was asked a few times if I would do some certain piece of art relating to whatever that individual liked. Then I watched Netflix’s “Wednesday” and the fact that Wednesday Addams was allergic to colors came up and I thought, Oh, how perfect that line fits into my art theme.
So … Here’s my very first piece of fan art. What do you think?
When I first started this journey into creativeness, I interspersed my art instagram account with postings of nature scenes that are inspirations to my art creations. Upon advice from other artists as well as having an inner monologue with myself, I realize that I am attracting 2 different kinds of followers: Those that enjoy seeing my art and those that just loves nature images and videos. So as not to aggravate my followers who might only want to see one type of postings or the other, I split my account into my current Chaotic_Abstraction account, which centers around my art creation and my artistic journey, and a second account, “Tales From Nature” (@talesfromnature on Instagram).
I started talesfromnature around May of 2020, when the pandemic causes everyone to have extra time on their hands, for those of us lucky enough not to be sick. And about a year later, I promptly stopped posting because I felt overwhelmed trying to keep up with social media.
Lately I have been thinking about it more often. I love nature and I am always fascinated with the natural world. I will be posting my nature images and videos again on my nature Instagram account, but a bit more sporadically to make it more manageable on my time table. I hope you will join me on this side adventure as a complement to my art postings, seeing the world through my eyes and expressions using a camera lens instead of a pencil or a pen.
Hope to see you on both @chaotic_abstraction and @talesfromnature on Instagram.
