A Successful Third Kickstarter Experience

With two successful Kickstarter campaigns under my wings, I got confident and thought this third campaign would be smooth sailing. It was just as much hard work as the first two. I still learned a lot and got some procedures down pat but there are still a lot I don’t understand. However, I feel I am starting to really get the process. Now I will concentrate on “leveling” up my reward offers.

For this campaign, I selected one of my favorite birds, the flamingo. They are so magnificent, from their graceful long necks to their beautiful color to their wondrous mating dance. I decided that black and white will not do justice to these great birds so I added color to the art. I love the color and I think I will continue this trend. Since I am still a bit hesitant about colors, the color added will most likely be minimal.

Previous backers returned to support this project and a couple who backed my project from the very beginning. I sure do appreciate them. I now want to be able to offer more great art with color, but also keep some black and white for those who love my black and white ink artwork. I have a great idea for the next one that I will share a bit later once I finalize what it is I wish to accomplish.

I hope you stick around and see what comes next.
